It's that time again! The CaliCares Company is collecting good to excellent condition special occasion attire, shoes, and accessories for prom season. As you start to think about spring cleaning and tackling your closets, please think of us first. There are so many young adults that don't have the opportunity to attend prom because the expense of getting a dress, suit, tux, shoes, accessories (not to mention seriously expensive prom tickets) is too far out of reach. All the items collected are offered at no cost to the local community. Help us protect the mental and social health of our teenagers. Missing out on such a milestone event can leave lasting effects.
I am looking for excellent condition used and new gowns, suits, shoes and accessories. Prom, Homecoming, formal, semi-formal, pageant, bridal party and special occasion dresses work! I want to expand into suits and tuxedos this year. Please scour your closets for pants, jackets, ties, dress shirts and nice dress shoes!
We can coordinate drop off/pick up times. This year, we have partnered with small businesses that will act as drop-off locations through the end of March.
